Today, as then, Sicilian olives stand out for their unique flavor, which allows the production of excellent quality oil.
In Sicily there are eight varieties of cultivars of high botanical value: Nocellara del Belice, Biancolilla, Nocellara Etnea, Tonda Iblea, Cerasuola, Moresca, Oglialora Messinese, Santagatese.
